Happy Holidays from your Land of the Pines family

*** There is nothing better than breaking out the sweaters and getting ready for the holidays. Your LOP board members are hard at work planning the chapter events for 2020.

*** Speaking of board members - Welcome aboard our newest board which was elected in October. 

        - Rachel Shiflet is our treasurer and is a credentialed PACU RN.

        - Ashley Miele is our secretary and comes from MNU.

        - Tiffany Gill is our media chairperson who also works in MNU.

        - Ryan Jones is a jack-of-all-trades who is a critical care transporter at Cape Fear Valley, a CCU nurse working in SC and will soon be a travel RN.

        - Kori Quick and Giulia Mauri will be tag teaming our education chairperson jobs and work in OCA.

*** Mark your calendars and block the night! We have officially adopted the 3rd Tuesday of every month as our chapter event night. We will be taking off November and December and will start our new year on January 21st.

*** Have you joined the chapter facebook yet? You can find it under AACN's Land of the Pines chapter. It is open to the public and anyone to include your fellow coworkers, friends and family can join the page so they can see what we are doing.

*** NTI 2020 registration has officially opened. Don't wait to reserve your hotel rooms. NTI is in Indianapolis May 3-7.

*** On the AACN website you will find scholarship opportunities for first time NTI participants which if granted will pay your entire costs to include registration and hotel fees. The deadline is December 9th.
